Idea Portal - Comments are not syncing between Idea records in portal and in fulfiller view

Let's say I open a record in Idea Portal. The equivalent record is created in the fulfiller side as well.

Now, if I'm adding any comment on the particular record in the idea portal, the same is not reflecting on the fulfiller side. This is happening vice-versa as well.

This is OOB behavior. In case of incidents or cases, comments are reflected properly in the portal(SP or CSM) & fulfiller side. But, in the Idea portal, the scenario is different. 

Does anyone face a similar issue? Have you checked with ServiceNow support as well? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

The intention of the Idea Portal is to deprecate Idea in the native UI (fulfiller side). The "Idea Manager" user should be working within the Idea Portal to "work" the Idea and convert to an appropriate task (e.g., Demand).

The Idea Portal tables are different from "old" Idea.

It is recommended when you begin using the Idea Portal to remove navigation for the old Idea application (see here).

Pro-tip: If you are using the Idea Portal having access to the Idea Manager Dashboard is very helpful. Talk to your ServiceNow Rep regarding licensing.
