Hello,
Release London
Is there a reason why the Budget for the Program is not rollup from the Projects budgets ?
Since London release, Portfolio manager have to fill manually Budgets Project by Project when the Portfolio Budget Plan has been approved. It's already a boring task, so if in add he have to fill Programs Budgets opex capex Program by Program when it's just the sum of the Budgets Projets already filled, it's a little tense.
How do you do on your side ?
Best regards.

Hi @Datha prasadred ,
Hope you are doing well.
Typically, the organizations have a budget for portfolio \ programs. Further program manager allocates the budget to its downstream items (top down budget allocation) or the downstream items request for the budget and the request rolls up to the portfolio \ program manager (bottom up budget process) or a mix of both...
Once the downstream items have the actual cost, this actual cost then rolls up to the parent program \ portfolio. This would then help in getting the variance between allocated and actuals or any other reporting as per the need of the organization.
I am interested to understand the use case where projects \ demand budget will decide the program \ portfolio budget.
Thanks,
