After defining 100 Resource Roles with hourly rates, I found that ServiceNow sets all of the roles' default costs to $50 per hour when I construct my cost plans. Is it possible to utilize my defined resource role and rates under Resource Roles and disable the system default without having to change the Rate Model and add all the roles and rates under Rate Lines again?
I'm sorry if this is a repeat.

Hi Norman,
May be this link could be of help - https://www.servicenow.com/community/spm-forum/rate-lines-created-for-rate-model-is-not-getting-appl...
It also includes a Rate Model short video.
There is also a helpful link from SN Support titled "Time Card is not using the Rate Model and is instead using the Default Rate" - https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0960998
If my response proves useful, please mark it "Accept as Solution" and "Helpful". This action benefits both the community and me.

Hello @NormanH ,
Cost plans in demand \ project will pick the rate model rate only when the rate model is defined in the Financials tab of that record.
Please select the rate model in Financials -> Rate Model field in case not already done.
Please mark this response as correct \ helpful in case it solves the query.
Happy Learning !!
Thank You!
