Multi level pivot report - aggregation based on more fields

Hello Community,

 

I have tried to create some more complex reports within the system, especially multi-level pivot reports, but it looks like the possibilities are limited.

The requirement would be to create a multi-level pivot report, where the aggregation is done on multiple fields, like: Show all resource allocation hours and costs on a timeline basis. Even if the data is present in 1 table in different columns, the multi level pivot table can only aggregate on 1 field - it means 1 report for costs and a separate one for hours.

In excel it would simply look something like this:

I'm not even talking about cases, where data is present on multiple tables, like project planned-budgeted-actual cost. Those cases also seem to be not possible to display in 1 report.

Is there any way to create a report which represent the data I need, or have I reached the limitations of the ootb reporting?
