new resource system - employee profiles and primary attributes questions

In setting up the new resource management system, I understand we have to generate employee profiles and each profile will need a primary attribute for group/role/skill. My questions are:
a) When someone is placed in a resource group, is there functionality (or is it coming soon) that will automatically update their employee profile? I know there is a scheduled job to do this but I'm thinking it should be done instantaneously, not once or twice per day.
b) When a new user is created, is there functionality (or is it coming soon) that immediately creates their employee profile? Again, I understand there is a scheduled job for this, but if a user is added to the user table in the morning, the resource team should not have to wait until the scheduled job runs for them to show up in new resourcing system.
c) Similar question with regenerating group capacity for capacity planning. Can it, or will it soon happen automatically as the resource groups are changed?

Can you please tell me the functionality of this schedule job Generate Employee Profile from users? It will be great help to me....
Whether it will create automatically employee profile and When user is placed in a resource group that will automatically update their employee profile like employment start date etc by using schedule job Generate Employee Profile from users....?
Please help me on this query.
