I am sure i read somewhere "Projects can belong to multiple portfolios". But I find that is not the OOB behavior. When i tag a demand/project to a program/portfolio the previous entry is replaced by current entry. Can someone confirm the OOB behavior of One-to-many/many-to-many" relationship between Demand, project program and portfolio. Is there a Docs page that clearly articulates this ? Many thanks in advance.

Out of box a project can only be associated with a Program and a Portfolio. Here is the document that explain relationship between Porgram/Demand - Program - Portfolio

While a project can only be associated with one portfolio, it can be associated to one or more Business capabilities or Business applications. I often find this useful if I want the project in more "categories". Have one-to-one alignment with the portfolio helps keep my head straight for cost accounting. But allowing multiple business capabilities to be associated helps me with reporting.
