Operational Resource Assignments move from 'Approved' to 'Pending' after weekly ti submits

Hi Community,

I need your support regarding an issue in SMP where Operational Resource Assignments are moving from "Approved" to "Pending" after the weekly timecard submission.

This issue does not occur in all scenarios; it only happens in some cases. I created a new record similar to another record where the issue occurred, but in my test it worked as expected and the state did not change. However, the records shared by the client are getting stuck in the Pending state and are not transitioning to any other state.

I have already checked Flows and Business Rules, but I could not find any conditions that would cause this behavior.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this?

Thank You!

The issue was caused by a bug in Resource Management Workspace version 5.2.0. Updating the workspace to the latest version resolves the problem.

As mentioned in Operational Resource Assignments move from 'Approv... - ServiceNow Community (duplicate post) there is no OOTB logic. Have you got reproducible steps? i.e is it a specific user? Portal vs Next Experience UI?
