Performance Analytics Premium for [...] Plugins

Does anyone know what the deal is with these all these plugins called "Performance Analytics Premium for [some name]"?

My organization has Performance Analytics Premium, and we are specifically looking into the "Performance Analytics Premium for Project Portfolio Management" plugin. I've been doing some research and I cannot find anything on what installing this plugin actually does.

I would like to know before blindly going around installing random plugins on our instance.

Any plugin name starting with “Performance Analytics for xyz” contains reporting capabilities and dashboards for the respective application xyz.

Is there any sort of documentation on what those "reporting capabilities and dashboards" are or do I just have to figure it out myself by downloading it?
