Portfolio plan does not shows any items

We are using Portfolio Planning in the Strategic Planning Workspace. Sometimes a weird thing happens. 

Someon has access to a Portfolio Plan, can see the items on the Prioritisation view, and suddenly after a refresh or the next day the Plans says 

"No content available

Contact your ServiceNow administrator for more information"

 

No change has happened on the plan  or the user record, and this resolves itself usually in a couple of days.

Did anyone had this experience? Could there be a quick way to resolve this?

Thank you so much for your response. We looked for the preference that began with apw or spw from the day it started failing, deleted it, and the problem was fixed.

I saved a copy of it to further analyze what special character is causing it to fail.

I hope they fix this problem soon.

We've detected that list-type fields are causing user preferences to fail and disrupt all user plans.
