Hello,
I would like to know whether anyone has used Change Management to manage & control changes to Project - Scope / Budget / Resources etc.
Traditionally, Change Management is used to control the changes delivered to Production env.
For Project management, the changes are linked to scope, cost, schedule etc that are linked to Task, not a deliverable to Production Env.
So wanted to check whether anyone has done this or not, if so what is the level of integration done.
Thanks
Satish

On the Project Task form there should be a related link called 'Create change and link from a Project Task.' This link will allow you to create a Change directly from the project to use for the purposes you mention. The Change will then show up on the Gantt chart in a task container. The Planned start and Planned end dates of the Change control it's Planned duration and then dependencies will change as if it was a project task.
Here is a good wiki on the topic.

Hello,
In SPM, there is the ability to open up a Change. We did not enable it but wonder if there is a capacity to utilize this to help us with Change management since it is integrated with ServiceNow ITSM. Can anyone provide information on this? @amullendarby
