pps_resource is this a free role ?

I have a question about PPM module Jakarta version.

From Jakarta "pps_resource" role is required for users marked as users to be managed in PPM.

Is this a free role ? No license fee is required ?

If it is not free, do we need to purchase license for all uses managed in PPM ?

Any information is welcomed.

Hi Koji,

It is a free role. It does not have any ACL associated with it. Only users with this role can be managed with Resource Management application.

In Tokyo version of PPM application, is pps_resource still a free role?  Can we assign it to users without paying the license fee for pps_resource role?

It is true for Tokyo as well. No change in pps_resource from San Diego to Tokyo or Utah.
