Hi Buddy,
No not OOTB.
Dispatcher Workspace is built for operational tasks incidents, change tasks, catalog tasks, work orders. Project Tasks (PRJTASK) are considered planned work, so they’re managed in Project / Resource Management, not Dispatcher. Because of that PRJTASK records dont appear and cant be allocated in Dispatcher Workspace by default.
You could technically customize it, but that’s not supported and usually causes issues during upgrades.
If the goal is real-time assignment or workload balancing, the supported approach is to:
Keep planning and ownership in Project / Project Workspace
Use Resource Management for allocation
Or create an operational task (linked to the project) if it truly needs dispatching

Thanks Matthew, the issue I've seen with only using Resource Management within the project is the Resource Workspace shows weeks and months, if we need to schedule in things like half day bookings so it would be useful to use the dispatcher. For us a resource could work on 4-5 projects throughout the week at set times dropping in and out

Another potential solution I've seen is to link the WOT in the dispatcher to the Resource Plan on the Project, will need some playing around to arrive at the right solution i think.

A WOT can be linked to a Project Resource Plan so perhaps this is the way to do this as a workaround.
