Project Risks / Risk Management - anyone managing that in Servicenow?

Just a quick question - ootb there is not too much (yet) - has anybody added something custom to manage project risks in Servicenow?
If so, are you willing to share the concept, like are you keeping risks on project level, or relating them to project sub tasks etc.?

Hi Christian
We just enable the project risks tab for Projects, and in List View the columns are fixed for everyone to columns I identify. That seems to suffice for us for each project. Now that Demand is up & running, there are the standard risk-to-project-success survey questions that could be pulled in & monitored as well. Are you asking perhaps about gauges relating to risks?

so you are just using the ootb risk table in Servicenow - nothing custom?
Not sure how you will pull the risks from demand into project? Afaik each risk is only related to one task. And since demand is an extension of task you won't be able to related the same risk to a demand and to a project. Unless you want to reassign the risk to the project once it's started. But then I am not sure if you may loose the risk info / history in demand?
Makes sense?
Also - you don;t have any kind of workflow or so around risk?

Hi Christian - yup just OOTB for risk management, no fancy gauges etc.
Honestly I haven't thought much further regarding pulling the Risk info from Demand to Project (which for us is a series of questions with a 1-10 rating each, and appears on the Demand form. We haven't started doing surveys yet). We do pull the fields from the Demand form to the Project form in our project overview area. But nothing intelligent / not imported into the Risk table for that project...yet?
We don't have workflow around risk, as it's pretty standard just identifying risks at the onset of a project, reviewing & updating them regularly. What kind of workflow were you looking for?
What kind of custom functionality regarding risks are you looking for?

I guess just getting a sense how intensive others are using it. When I checked the ootb set up there weren't any risk so I already got good feedback from you in terms of just relating the ootb risk table, even though not specifically used for project.
We had defined the nice little process flow, but I guess many times your approach (business process wise) is much simpler 😉
