Project Template not Sending Notifications

Hello Community,
When we create project tasks via a project template, we are running into an issue where notifications for those tasks are not being fired. We have a requirement to notify the assigned to of the project task that they have an upcoming task being assigned to them.
I have noticed the following:
- The notification is not being triggered on the setting Insert or Update (with or without conditions)
- The notification is also not being triggered if the event pm_project_task.assigned is set as the trigger condition
- The event pm_project_task.assigned is not being created in the event logs when the template is applied, but does fire for a normal new task insert
- I have confirmed that users have the correct roles, notification preferences, and the weight of the assigned notification is set to 0
Does anybody have any insight into if this is possible to set up? We are hoping to use project templates as a way to quickly set up projects and send out notifications.

How is the template applied? It could be that there is some customization with creating the tasks that sets workflow to false in it. If that's the case, it won't trigger events.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Hey @KyleLaurel , I have the same issue and i was going for a Business Rule to update the values for Assigned to again so the notification is triggered but did you find any other solution to this?
