Greetings,
I'm trying to understand the the general class types of and relationships between various ServiceNow plug-in modules. Specifically, I’m interested in understanding the dynamics between the Strategic Portfolio Management plugin, and the Application Portfolio Management plugin. After looking through documentation, I’m still not exactly sure of the relationship between the two… is the SPM module something that contains APM as an option, are they two completely separate things?
Hoping to understand this well enough to create some technical documentation of each module(s) for my team, it’s just that the relationship between the ‘[insert word] Portfolio Management’ plug ins seem so ambiguous— even though it appears that collectively there is supposed to be some sort of value in interchange of information between them.
Thanks Community!

Hi,
Yes, APM and SPM are separate products, so represented by separate plug-ins.
Thanks,
Doron

Thank you Doron. I think I was just overcomplicating things in my head based on some outdated documentation I ran into.
My team currently leverages UPM-X from Ins-Pi for EA Management purposes, but I've been tasked with doing some research on the various ServiceNow Plug-in's that our Platform team is working on implementing: SPM, GRC/IRM, PPM, Demand Management, etc.
One in particular I'm hoping you'd be able to help me with is APM. My team is interested in seeing where it could compliment UPM-X, in providing us with a more holistic picture of our Enterprise Architecture. Similar to how Ins-Pi provides potential buyers with their UPM-X Metamodel details, I was wondering if you might have a similar Metamodel for APM? I looked through APM documentation, and though there are quite a bit of good resources, I couldn't find anything that depicted the Metamodel in great Detail, other than this and the page that lists the tables installed with APM.
Would really appreciate any information you'd be able to/willing to share, even if it is in an individual setting. Thank you!
