Where can I find a process flow outlining the relationships between goals, targets, initiatives, Portfolios, Programs and Projects.

Some examples of efficient scaling of Portfolios and Programs would be helpful

Very Helpful picture!
Within Strategic Priority-> Goals . Initiatives-> Strategic Programs-> Work items would you recommend to create a Portfolio for every initiative and us the Programs under a Portfolio record to document the Strategic Programs?

Not really .. you can create a portfolio plan to show your initiatives . Also programs and strategic programs are different. If you are talking about strategic programs, you can just create portfolio plans using Strategic Investment lens and plan your initiatives within it. Let me know if you want to connect on this. I'm talking about both strategic and 'simple' programs.

We create our project records in SPM, then link the project record to a Portfolio and a Program.
Once we've established the project records, then we create a roadmap in SPW using the Portfolio lens.
When creating a "Planning Item" for a specific roadmap, I get a new "PLNIxxx" record. The project records created in SPM start with "PRJ".
It's not really clear which option is the best to create new projects and how to scale create of portfolios and related Programs.
