Hi @users00024520 ,

Thanks for posting the question.

Though you have not mentioned, but from the numbers I believe your query is for 2024 availability data.

Now if this understanding is correct. I can tell you that your data is all correct and it also shows that resource (Alvaro) is available completely from Jan - Oct, 2024.

To answer how it is calculated:

Resource's Monthly Capacity = Resource's per day capacity * Number of working days in that month

Resource's Monthly Availability = Resource's Monthly Capacity - (Company's holidays + Resource's time off + Resource's allocation)

For example: In Jan 2024, there are 23 working days. Resource's per day capacity = 8 hours. Jan 1st is a company holiday and Jan 2nd resource has taken off. Jan 3 - 5, 2024 he is allocated completely on a project. In this case,

Resource's availability = 184 - (8+8+24) = 144

Now for the above example, it looks that Alvaro is tied to OOTB Resource Management schedule and his per day capacity is 8 hours. From January - October there are no company holidays or PTO or allocations hence the capacity = availability.

January: Number of working Days = 23; Resource's Capacity = Availability = 8*23= 184

February: Number of working Days = 21 ; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*21= 168

March: Number of working Days = 21; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 168

April: Number of working Days = 22; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 176

May: Number of working Days = 23; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 184

June: Number of working Days = 20; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 160

July: Number of working Days = 23; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 184

August: Number of working Days = 22; Resource's Capacity = Availability = 8*23= 176

September: Number of working Days = 21; Resource's Capacity= Availability = 8*23= 168

October: Number of working Days = 23; Resource's Capacity == Availability = 8*23= 184

For November, the capacity of the resource is 168. However,  it looks like there are company holidays or PTO or some allocations for this resource or a combination of all the three hence the availability is 128.

November: Number of working Days = 21; Resource's Capacity = 8*23= 168; Availability = 128

From the shared information, it looks like holidays are NOT considered in the schedule. In other words, the resource management schedule does not have holidays defined (as child schedule). If this is correct then as you can see you won't get the correct capacity of the resources.

To check, you can also execute the 'Allocation Details' for this user and the complete information will be provided in below format:

If this answers your question, please mark this as a correct answer.

P.S: "I need to change this data to 160 and 200" - I hope you would have got the answer to this point as well after reading the explanation.

Thanks,
