Hi All,
Forgive me if there is an obvious step to this solution that I'm missing but I've been unable to track this one down. I'm implementing a solution for Project Management using resource allocation to track project task allocation and time cards to track actual effort.
The process seems to be working quite well using time worked fields on the tasks to automatically create a time card entry for each update they make to the task. This is flowing through to the project actual effort and showing in the users time cards. The component that I'm missing is getting this to display on the Resource Report Monthly. Is there a particular state that either the time card or the resource plan (or both) need to be to generate the entry in the Resource Actual (Hrs) by Month section of the report.
If someone has come across this before any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Cameron

I've received an update from ServiceNow support on this.
I believe the issue you are experiencing is related to PRB605363.
Could you kindly verify that you were using YYYY-MM-DD in your profile.
Go to "My Profile"Change date format to YYYY-MM-DD
From my understanding, this issue is caused when you use a different date format.
This has solved the issue, but does require every user to have their profile date format set to "YYYY-MM-DD"

Hi Cameron Douglas-Savage - I'm really interested in seeing how an organization has this functionality set up. Are you by chance open to doing a demo of this functionality, either just for me & my team, or possibly for the PPM Community Group: ServiceNow User Group - SIG - PPM | ServiceNow? I've been looking for some time for someone to demo this and would really appreciate this! Also, are you doing time tracking with SDLC?

I'd love to see this too. We have been using time tracking for quite some time, but I would love to see how you have allocations set up, etc...
