Cannot find User resources Related List in a project form

Hi,

I am using Project Management and I'd like to manage the resources (so Assign To field) and I have alerady all my project and tasks created (I can see the Gantt correctly also).

The only thing is that I was reading about Task resources (Task Resources - ServiceNow Wiki) to add resources on a particular project or tasks, but I cannot find the User resources Related List from Project form.

Is there anything (plugin) I should activate first (Eureka version) or field I should make visible?

Thanks,

Skender

I think that Resource Management took the place of this functionality. With Resource Management you create a Resource Plan which is attached to the Demand, Project, or Project Task record (or any record that extends off the Planned Task table). Instead of assigning multiple assignees you allocate a certain amount of time to multiple resources, then you get another record called a Resource allocation record that gives the time that each resource was allocated to a given task/project. This enhancement allowed for better resource reporting which is the real win with the resource management app outside of the actual scheduling aspect giving resources the ability to show their own availability.

I am not sure if it is possible to use the User resource table unless you uninstall the current Project Management plugin. The table doesn't even exist for me in a Eureka or Fuji instance. Check with your account rep on that but I would try the Resource Management app first since you have it and may give you better reporting and better interaction with resources.

Which SN Version are you in? Are you using Resource Management?

Thank you Kelly!

Yes I have activated it. Anything wrong or in conflict?

Anyway, the aim was the same like my previous question: to have a list of people (a kind of assign to in plural) for each task...

OK looks like you're in Fuji. So you'll be creating Resource Plans using Resource Mgmt - try following this http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Working_with_Resource_Plans. I'm about to start using Resource Mgmt in about 3 weeks so will be figuring this out with you     If you have more questions, you may want to post your questions here:

Good luck!

Thanks, I am studying it now.

ps. the SNow version is Eureka!
