Resource Plan OOB States

Dear Community, 

There is a question OOB there are 13 states on Resource Plan form. However, only 7 (planning, requested, confirmed, allocated, completed, canceled, rejected) are actively used. What are the scenarios when the rest of the states are applied? What are the triggers for those that are not actively used?
