Servicenow Agile Metrics Reports creation

Hi All,

As part of the Agile team, I'm working on creating an Agile Metrics Dashboard in ServiceNow to help track team progress, delivery, and overall sprint performance. I'm new to ServiceNow reporting and metrics, so I would appreciate your guidance.

Could anyone please help me understand how to create the below metrics in ServiceNow? Specifically, I'd like to know whether these should be built using basic Reports, Performance Analytics (Indicators/Widgets), or any other recommended approach. My goal is to have these metrics available within ServiceNow for team reference.

Planning & Predictability Metrics

  • Velocity
  • Sprint Burndown Chart
  • Release Burndown Chart
  • Commitment Reliability

Workflow & Flow Metrics

  • Cycle Time
  • Lead Time
  • Throughput
  • Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD)

Quality & Delivery Metrics

  • Defects
  • Burnup Chart

If anyone has documentation, examples, or can provide guidance on the best approach for implementing these metrics, it would be greatly appreciated.

Starting with the Australia release, Agile Development 2.0 and its related plugins are being prepared for future deprecation. These plugins will be hidden and can no longer be activated on new instances but will continue to be supported.

Collaborative Work Management provides the latest experience for supporting your team-level Agile work and Enterprise Agile Planning can be used for Agile scaling use cases.

Hi, thanks for the response. I'm currently using the Zurich version. I have a better understanding of it now, and I think I can generate some of the reports directly from the plugin instead of creating them manually. I'll explore this further and see how it goes.
