Resources can be assigned at Program and Portfolio level?

Or only at project and demand level?

They are assigned at the project and demand level, not the Program and Portfolio level with OOTB setup.

Hello,

To add a little more color, resource can be assigned to any task based table. Portfolio is not a child table of task while Program is. That said, I have not done a single implementation where there was a consideration for assigning resources at the program level. Typically, resource will be assigned at the demand and project level as well as, as I have seen it implemented, project task, epic, story, etc. level. Hope this helps.

@jameswoodfo  as best practice for an organisation that just starts their journey in using Resource Assignments, would you recommend these to be created:

- at project level only

- at project task level only

- at both project and project task level

It would be good to understand the advantages/disadvantages for each scenario.
