Specific roles missing are the Strategic planning workspace roles:
- Strategic Planning Workspace admin [sn_align_core.apw_admin]
- Strategic Planning Workspace user [sn_align_core.apw_user]
- sn_align_core.ap_read_only
- Milestones editor [sn_milestones.milestone_editor]
- Milestones viewer [sn_milestones.milestone_viewer]
I have troubleshot by repairing, uninstalling, reinstalling, verifying dependencies have all been met. How can this be fixed?

Hi @JessL ,
I have not seen this issue in any of the instances... Since you are on the PDI and nobody is using as of now, I would suggest you to uninstall the plugin.
Just to be on the safer side logout and login and then try to install the plugin "Strategic Planning Workspace" [App id: sn_apw_advanced]..
Hopefully it should work fine.

Thanks,

I have performed the following for both Strategic Planning (sn_apw_advanced) and Portfolio Planning (sn_align_ws).
1. uninstalled
2. removed tables and loaded data
3. reinstalled
4. added ServiceNow sample data
I see both Project Workspace and Strategic Planning workspace. But when I go to create a plan I can see a list of existing plans but cannot click into them to view the plan or create a new one.

Hi @JessL ,
As you may also be aware that the below message apears when the portfolio plan gets deleted but the list page is not refreshed... so the portfolio plan is visible on the list page but once you click on it the message appears.

Please try the following steps, create new user - strategic planning workspace user [you would require admin role for this]:
1. All -> User Administration -> Users
2. Click on New button
4. Create a user and assign 'sn_align_core.apw_user' role.
Impersonate as this user.
You should be able to create, update, and delete portfolio plans, free-form roadmaps, and planning items.
I am suggesting this to check if the functionality can be accessed by using the new user. In this case at least it would be clear whether the issue is with the strategic planning or something wrong with the user record.
Happy Weekend !
Thank You!

I can't assign any user the role sn_align_core.apw_user because it doesn't exist. That was the original point of my post, that the installer did not create the roles the documentation says it will. I'm not sure how to setup the roles SPM needs so that I can assign them.
