Hi experts,
I am not able to get the Finacials section for working lens of Portfolio Planning Workspace to work. I have followed all steps to configure the portfolio financials in Portfolio Planning as per the instruction https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-it-business-management/page/product/portfolio-planni... but is is still showing as empty. BTW. the Integration is setup and working. Also projects and demand under the portfolio is showing finances in Project Workspace view. What I found a bit weird is that the "Data generation for financials in SPW/PPW" scheduled job does not exist. Could it be that I only activated the standard SPM package including the Portfolio Planning Workspace? Is this a product limitation or am I missing some other settings or plugin?
Thank you all in advance.
Petr

Hi @petrb ,
Sorry to see that system is behaving not as expected.
The job "Data generation for financials in SPW/PPW" is available both for portfolio planning as well as for strategic planning workspace so that shouldn't be an issue.
"I am not able to get the Financials section for working lens of Portfolio Planning Workspace to work." - Can you please clarify if
1. you are not getting the Financial section itself (as shown in below screenshot)
2. Financials section is shown but some error is shown and not the actual information such as:
Please share the screenshot that would give an idea of the error that you are facing.
Thank you!

Hi @petrb ,
- I also made "true" Portfolio and Program data for the "Investment Entities" table and it started to work! 🙂
Regarding the above point, I think we don't need make the Portfolio and Program Investment Entities active in order to see the Financials section. Could you please confirm if you are seeing the same behaviour in the other instances as well?

Hi @Dheeraj Bharsiy yes you are right, regarding the "Investment Entities" table you do not need to make the Portfolio and Program Investment Entities as active. And yes it is working on all instances under Portfolilo Planning Workspace as well as Strategic Planning Workspace. All goo now! Thank you 🙂

Hi @Namita Mishra so I got this to work on my PDI instance also. The way I fixed it was following:
- I exported from working instance the scheduled job "Data generation for financials in SPW/PPW" as XML and inported on my "broken" PDI instance under the "Financials Core" scope.
- I also made "true" Portfolio and Program data for the "Investment Entities" table and it started to work! 🙂
Thank you again for your help! 🙂
