Understanding Demand Assessment

Hi Everyone,

So, the issue here is I am unable to understand. How the scoring works for the Assessment published during the Screening State of Demand. So, the values that we put into every question is between (1 - 10). So, can anyone tell me how does should it be marked. If I want to mark High Risk, should I choose 1 or 10? And similarly for the Value I put in.

Thanks,

Nihal

Hi @Nihal2

In ServiceNow, the scoring for the Assessment published during the Screening State of Demand typically works on a scale of 1-10. However, the interpretation of the scale can vary based on the organization's preference or the specific configuration of the system. Here's a general guideline:

- If you are using a higher score to indicate a higher risk, then you should mark a high risk with a 10.

- If you are using a lower score to indicate a higher risk, then you should mark a high risk with a 1.

Here are the steps to configure the scoring:

1. Navigate to Demand > Demands.

2. Open the demand for which you want to publish an assessment.

3. In the Assessments related list, click New.

4. Fill in the fields on the form, as appropriate.

5. Click Submit to publish the assessment.

HI Shaqeel,

I checked as per your solution, but the thing is when I select 9 as the Business Value for every question and 0 as the Risk for every Risk question. I end up getting the Assessment Data as:

Value : 1

Risk : 0

So, now I am fine with the score that I get for Risk which should be 0, but Can you justify why I am getting 1 as the Value here?
