User resource could not be allocated.

Hi all

This might be a beginners question but let me ask something about allocating resource in PPM.

When I try to allocate user   by this procedure,

1. Create Resource plan

2. Request

3. Confirm

Error message

"User xxx could not be allocated for the period 2017-12-01 - 2017-12-31 as the user is not available for one or more days in the period"

comes up.

From my point of view the resource seems like it has full availability to be allocated.

How can I check the availability in PPM for the specific user ?

Any info is welcomed.

I found my solution! I hope it helps you with yours!

In Resource - Administration - Properties there is a "Calendar Event Duration (Minutes)".

The Manager was attempting to allocate a 30 minute segment when the duration was 60. We instructed our users to use full hour durations only and have not had an issue since.
