View Rules are not working for Demand in SPW

I've created a new view and a view rule for it where I scripted the condition that users without admin and it_portfolio_manager see this specific view. But it doesn't seem to work in the SPW

I figured it out. It seems creating Workspace View Rules don't do anything for the new Demand record form in the SPW. I had to create a variant in UI builder, create an Audience for the groups I want to see the view I made, and hardcode the view name in the View variable of the variant.

Did you create a view rule, or a workspace view rule? The former only works in the Core UI. Latter is for UI Builder based experiences (as long as they're configured to respect view rules)

Did you correctly link your view rule to a UX View Rule Config? I've just successfully done this in a PDI.

SPW uses the 'Alignment Planner Workspace' view rule config.
