What Can't Project Planned End Date/Duration Be Changed

This is a brand new project record created from a Demand

Planned End Date cannot be altered, when I hover over I see Record has children so this field is calculated from child values

Planned duration also cannot be altered with the same message as above

Project Status is Pending

Project Tasks are empty

If a Project has any Project Task or Sub Project, then Planned Start/End date filed is non-editable. 

The Planned Start/End date field of project is set based on it's Project Task/Sub Project's Planned start/end date. It aggregates from all of its dependent and set the min planned start date and max planned end date to the Top Task/Project.
