What is the difference between the Approved and Processed states of a Time Card?

Hello,

Can someone explain me what is the difference between the Approved and Processed states of a Time Card?

When I approve a Submitted time card (on Jakarta), it goes directly to the state "Processed" even if the Time Card concerns a week in the future (two weeks from the actual/approval date for example).

Thank you for your insights or your help!

Hi Prille,

When you click the Approve button it updates the Time Card state field to   "Approved".   However, there is an After Business Rule, Create expense from approved time card, that is triggered to create an expense line for the associated task and then update the Time Card state to "Processed".

So, if you ever see a Time Card in a state of "Approved" it simply means that there was no task associated to the Time Card, which would not be a good practice.

Hope this helps!

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your answer. It's clear to me.
