Hi everyone,
I am currently studying for the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) exam.
For those who have recently taken the exam, are there any major changes or new topics that I should be aware of?
Also, do you have any advice on the best areas to focus on during my preparation?
Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Tips for the CSA Exam (Certified System Administrator)
CSA is the first and foundational exam in your ServiceNow journey. Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:
- Study the training material thoroughly
Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times to build a strong understanding. - Practice the labs multiple times
Complete each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just finish them—carefully read and understand every step and instruction. - Follow the official eBook
Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce key concepts and platform knowledge. - Consider supplementary courses
Some candidates find Udemy courses helpful for additional practice and clarity. - Watch experience-based videos

Hello @YIHSUANY ,
Here are a few tips that I personally followed while preparing for the CSA exam:
- Review the entire eBook thoroughly. The last sections are especially important, and questions frequently appear from topics such as the Shared Responsibility Model, Encryption and Decryption, and similar concepts.
- Complete the ServiceNow Fundamentals course. It helps you understand ServiceNow configurations, navigation, and the overall platform structure.
- Review this community post as well:
