Can I save a record producer without sending it?

I want to temporarily save the record producer before sending it.
Is this possible?

it's available at portal level as well.

It needs to be enabled via property for that portal and "Hide Save as Draft" on your item should be unchecked.

@bonsai 

you can use Save as Draft for your portal and enable it for your record producer.

The variables you enter will be saved in draft and you can edit the draft version again in some time.

Save Catalog Items as draft
