Correlation ID on the Hardware table - how is it populated?

Hi

 

We are wondering how the Correlation ID filed is populated in the cmdb_ci_computer table.

 

When I look at the list view of the table, the Correlation ID comes up blank, undefined or with a number.  See image

 

We connect to 1 SCCM.  Over the lifetime of SNow we have connected to another SCCM in the past.  And we currently use the Service Graph connector for SCCM.

 

When I look at the computer record of a device with a blank Correlation ID.  The source tab lists a correlation ID.  (2nd image)

 

SO I am confused by this behavior.  Can someone explain to me what is happening.
