Hi everyone, I´m on my journey to become a CSA as I understood I can do it for free once I´m done with the 3 levels for the System Administrator career?

No, mate, for exam you need to pay$354 to do the certification.

That is an exciting goal! However, there is a common point of confusion regarding the "free" aspect of the CSA (Certified System Administrator) exam that I should clarify so you don't run into a surprise at the end of your journey.

​The "Free" vs. "Paid" Reality

​In the current 2026 certification model, completing the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals (the "career journey" or level-based path) on the Now Learning platform generally works like this:

​The Training is Free: The on-demand, self-paced courses for the System Administrator path are typically free to take.  

​The Exam is NOT Free: Completing the on-demand path unlocks the eligibility to sit for the exam, but it does not usually provide a free voucher. You will typically be required to pay an exam fee (standardly around $300 USD) to register for the proctored exam via Pearson VUE.

If your organization is ServiceNow partner then using learning credits you can complete CSA.

Hi @RaúlM 

In Servicneow University - Ondemand training is free.

No Certification exam is free of cost until and unless any  campaign /promo is going on.

Currently, there is no free promo is going on for CSA.

So You have to pay Registration cost +tax.
