Here is another question I keep seeing on study guides where the answers don't align with Xanadu documentation.
Question: What are the different Notification methods that can be used to alert users when events that concern them have occurred? (Choose three.)
A. Meeting Invitation
B. Email
C. Browser Pop ups
D. Messenger
E. SMS
My response was: E, C, E.
However, looking into SN Forums people are telling me that it is A (meeting Invitation), B(email), E(SMS).
About “Meeting Invitation” (Option A)
In the ServiceNow books for Washington they clam: 3 methods listed: Email, SMS, Meeting Invitation
If anyone can show me documentation in the Xanadu eBook or on the SN Documentation site that shows option A is valid please share because what I see, it talks about Browser Pop-ups (In-platform notification).

Hi @sme4hire,
i would say the correct answers are:
popup
sms
Simply just because Messenger is just nonsense and meeting invitation sounds also weird.
The question is interesting, never heard anything similar before. So it’s no guarantee from my side… just what seems to be correct

You're likely correct.
Multiple ServiceNow KB articles confirm "Meeting Invitation" exists as a notification type (not method)
KB0821377: Meeting Invitation notification shows plain text instead of formatted HTML email
KB0755834: Email Notifications of Type Meeting Invitation Don't Send Images
KB0728505: The email Notification with an Outlook Meeting Invite not passing Description field
ServiceNow documentation states: ServiceNow supports standard Email, SMS, and Push notifications
Correct notification methods: Email, SMS, Browser Pop-ups/Push
Your answer (B, C, E) appears accurate.

Hi @sme4hire
SMS
Browser Pop ups
Email invitations are also considered valid — for example, CAB invites are sent as email invitations.
However, they must be followed up by a calendar booking.
All three points mentioned above are correct and should be followed.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
