Double published articles

Hello,

There are some articles having double published version

I want previous version of article to be outdated

Please help how can i achieve this, any background script can we run

I recommend adding an additional filter to the report that has status is not outdated:

Alternatively, if you need to see only the latest version of each article, there is Latest is True:

Filter the records with Criteria then from the list view select all using the check box before first Column. Once all records are selected, right click on any column and select "update selected" option from column context menu. On the next screen- change the states and whatever you need to update and click on update record. All the records will be updated with the Outdated status.

This is not working as workflow field is greyout, can you help me with background script
