Is there a best time to take the CSA exam? I wanted to make sure there wasn't a new release before taking a older version of the software.

Hi @derhammerj
Webassesor blackout period
July 16th - July 22nd, 2025
During this period you will not be able to book any new exams. At this moment you can still book exams, though not on the time period mentioned.
When trying to book an exam between July 16th and July 22nd, you might experience that Webassessor visually looks empty, the exams look to have vanished! It's just temporary. Or you might just have passed all exams successfully
Webassessor:
"Vouchers expiring between July 16, 2025 and July 22, 2025 will be extended to August 31, 2025. This extension will not be reflected in your Now Learning account."
Exam version
During the Webassessor blackout period, all exams versions are updated to the new release. So up to the Webassessor blackout period, all exams will still be on the Xanadu release. After the Webassessor blackout period, all exams will be on the Yokohama release! (from 23rd July Onwards)

Hi @derhammerj,
The difference between versions is not that significant for CSA and probably not for any other module either.
Study, prepare and repeat. And once you feel confident, go take the exam.
good luck!

Hi @derhammerj ,
Although difference of version does not matter much as there will be only few questions difference. you can plan after 23rd July as it will be on latest version - Yokohama version.
