The OID "1.3.6.1.4.1.12356.101.1.1000" of the device says its a Firewall but discovery is classifying it as a router under the IP router table. why is that and how to fix this issue.

Hi Rejeesh,

Go to the Probe and from the related list of probe parameters you should be able to change the intervals.

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-it-operations-management/page/product/discovery/task/t_SetPr...

Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks!

The OID entry was created by mid server in the OID table and Table is set as IP Router and classifier as standard router. if the OID is of firewall then why did the mid server create entry in OID table with the above information.  if i change the classifier and Table to firewall manually will it be over written when the discover runs?
