Need to add task_sla fields table to incident report

Hi 

I have a request to add some task_sla fields to an incident report, which is being used on a dashboard.

I can see there is a related list for task_sla when viewing the incident form, however my understanding is you can't present related list data on reports.

I am wanting to know what would be the best way to add this to the incident report?

If it is creating a relationship from task_sla to incident table, how would I actually do that as looking at the schema task is only being referenced by task_sla?

Or would it be best to create a database view?

You have to create a separate report on "task_sla" table and apply the filter as follow through dot walk.
