Hi there - new to ServiceNow portal, and I have had my instance permission come through today.
I'm following a learning path for service now administrator, and I thought that the instance would appear as an out of box template to represent a work based environment.
I am being steered to the App engine studio, rather than anything that looks like the familiar platform of content frame, banner frame and navigator etc. Perhaps I am not understanding the use of instance on the website. If anyone can provide some assistance I would be very grateful

Thank you very much for the comprehensive answer. I will indeed follow the UI and service portal features to search for the oob interface as my training is focused on using an existing built environment at the moment. I will reach out again if I am unable to locate the interface. Thank you again

Hello again
I have looked for the Standard Service now interface but I am unable to locate "Service Portal" or "Now Platform UI" application and indeed the navigator, but I am unable to do so. When logging into the instance I am just offered the app engine studio . Please would you be able to assist . Thank you.
