Hi Sysadmins,
The homepages are being deprecated in the Utah release. We have a homepage for the Service Catalog, we tried converting the homepage to a dashboard but we lose the search functionality for the Service Catalog in the dashboard.
I tried opening a Utah PDI and it seems like the Service Catalog is still a homepage and is visible in Utah. How are you tackling the Service Catalog homepage when upgrading to Utah?
This is the Service Catalog homepage that I am trying to preserve in Utah. It is under the Self-Service -> Service Catalog
catalog_home.do?sysparm_view=catalog_default
Solved! Go to Solution.

Even though homepages are being deprecated in Utah...they'll still be able to be used. They aren't going anywhere. You just won't be able to create any new ones or modify existing ones anymore. No need to come up with a solution to replace that page!
The main purpose of converting personal/user homepages to dashboards is 2-fold...firstly, it prepares them for when they will no longer be able to edit/create/add on their homepage (so they don't feel as though the "rug is pulled out") and prepares them for the Next Experience UI, which is more modern and in line with features and functionality of dashboards, as opposed to homepages.
