How To Edit Password Reset Page

MrDevanWright

When a user needs to reset their password, or a password was generated and they need to set a custom one, they are directed to a login page at /login_cpw.do. Without creating a redirect and building an entirely new page: How can I edit this page (such as its background or widgets).

Assuming the login form on this page is a widget, what widget is this and how can I edit it?

Hi @MrDevanWright,

That will need some Jelly coding. Please refer to the docs below:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/administer/login/concept/custo...

To edit the Macro: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/administer/login/task/customiz...

Or you could just incorporate in a Widget, and then give it your style to it:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/administer/login/task/use-pwd-...

If you found my answer helpful or correct in any way, please don't forget to mark it to help future readers! 👍
