is it a must to complete the course in now learning before csa exam

im a new person to this platform and i have a doubt that whether it is a must to complete the fundamental course for the CSA examinaton. Or can i directly apply for the exam. Please let me know And also i would like to know is there an other expenses associated

No, the course is a prerequisite to attend the exam, as you need to have the fundamental understanding of ServiceNow before entering the exam. Furthermore, according to the cost, besides exam fee there is a yearly delta exam that costs 200USD for keeping the certification.
