we aren't enrolled to that class, it's likely that we passed it some time ago, but I doubt that people could remember after long time what was exactly in Task 3.

So please, if it is not validated, share the validated message, it can bring some clarity to the topic. Also, share the requirements, what is the Task 3 about? ANd share what you did, we can review it.
Without giving details, your questions will be too mysterious and nobody can give you meaningful advice..
When validation fails, it's mostly because of not being impersonated for the proper user (e.g. admin x platform user) or something is not done correctly. Please share more details otherwise we cannot help you to pass it...
to successfully complete the whole simulator, you are good with 80 % so unless this is a prerequisite to some later steps, you maybe can skip it..
EDIT: maybe you need to create the incident, save it, wait a moment and then add that comment.. also if you copy paste, be sure it's really 1:1 even a blank space in the beggining or in the end can reject the validation
