Notifications: Flow Vs "Traditional" setup

Hi,

I have recently completed the Flow Designer training and the new knowledge is now challenging the old one, so I still need some more pieces of the puzzle to get to the "eureka" moment...

BEFORE this training all I knew aboyt notification was the traditional setup [When to send - Who will receive - What it will contain]. However, Flow Designer has showing me another way to manage notifications and I am a little confused about when each method should be used.

Could anyone help me understand pros and cons of each?

Thanks in advance,

Hello, @Paula Alejandra

In any way, you'll have to create a notification record using the traditional setup and pass the record in the "Send Notification" action in flow designer.

Hi Sai,

Thank you for your quick response. So this means that the WHEN TO SEND condition alone won't be enough as a Notification trigger? Sorry if I insist but want to make sure I am understanding you correctly.

Thanks,

Paula
