I've received the following unexpected email from SURF@servicenow.com:
Subject: Allow Kiosk Camera Access
Body: Hi <name>,
An application on the kiosk requires the use of the device camera for kiosks: VMS kiosk for Boston. Please open Kiosk as the Kiosk Operator and allow camera access. This will allow Kiosk to function with all camera related capabilities.
Thank you,
ServiceNow Workplace Services team
I'm concerned for a few reasons:
1) We don't use Kiosks,
2) We don't have anything setup in Boston.
3) We are just a normal customer (not a partner etc.) so the email sender (SURF) doesn't seem like it's meant for us.
Could this be of any concern, or is this just a system error that sent this email to the incorrect recipient?
