Query about Flow Designer Approval

Merza Lyn

Is there a way to do approval sequence in Flow Designer.

Example: Approver 1, Approver 2.

Once request is submitted, it will ask for Approver 1.

Then if Approver 1 approved, it will move to the next approver which is Approver 2.

yes why not.

Repeat the "Ask for Approval" flow action and ensure you select Wait checkbox

In each of the "Ask for Approval" flow action add the respective Approvers

what did you start with and where are you stuck?

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar

I checked the KB article given by Bhuvan and I think this is the reason why every time I used flow design for approval sequence it is not working.
I open the Approval Engines of our instance and found out the sc_req_item is set to Approval Rules.

Is there an impact to our existing catalog items if we change this to 'Turned Engine Off'?

@Merza Lyn

I believe yes. it says so in the DOCS

yes it will have impact

check this link and it has a workaround from Lisa and you need not update the approval engine

What is the impact of turning off "approval engines" for Requested Items ?

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
