ServiceNow and SharePoint Integration - the basics

I'm seeking high level information on integrating ServiceNow and SharePoint. In searching for answers on this, I either get very technical responses about setting up integration hubs, or sales presentations from third party vendors.

1. Initially, my users want to be able to view a ServiceNow table on a SharePoint web page. What exactly do I need to implement to do this?

2. What would be the cost for doing this?

3. Second on the wish list - update a table in ServiceNow from SharePoint. What exactly do I need to implement this capability?

4. What would be the cost for doing this?

The platform ServiceNow has integration with SharePoint in several ways.

1. The Microsoft SharePoint Online spoke integrates your ServiceNow® instance with Microsoft SharePoint Online so that you can automate various predefined actions as part of a Workflow. For example, you can rename a folder on Microsoft SharePoint Online when a record in the database is updated.

2. The ServiceNow SharePoint Online Search Connector offers a consumer-grade search configuration to manage your information resources.

As search is the key to productivity, SharePoint Online Search Connector (SPOC) helps your employees to search and discover content from the ServiceNow employee experience.

Important: Starting with the Yokohama release, SharePoint Online Search Connector is being prepared for future deprecation. It is hidden and no longer activated on new instances but continue to be supported. For deprecation details, see the Deprecation Process [KB0867184] article in the Now Support knowledge base
