Hoi @Brymo
There are no specific reasons provided by ServiceNow, but based on experience:
- Many new users are entering the ecosystem via RiseUp and are demanding PDI access.
- Many new features have been released in recent versions, and everyone wants to explore and experiment with them.
- There may also be technical issues on the ServiceNow side, which could be causing delays in PDI allocation.

Known Issue in the ServiceNow Community
Currently, there is a limitation when embedding screenshots directly into a Community post or question. Members may not be able to download the image or zoom in sufficiently to view the details.
For better visibility and quicker resolution, you can either:
Attach the image as a file so members can download and view it at full resolution, or
Embed the image using a larger image size. This needs to be done manually when creating the post.
This is a known Community limitation and is worth keeping in mind when sharing screenshots that contain detailed information.

Hi @Brymo
Sometimes, you may also receive the following message:
"We're experiencing high demand on PDI requests. Please expect a delay to get your request fulfilled."
With over 1 million members in the ServiceNow community, along with many other users learning and exploring the platform, the demand for infrastructure has increased significantly. This surge in usage has led to system-wide resource throttling.
As a result, Personal Developer Instance (PDI) provisioning has been impacted, with wait times ranging from a few days to more than a week in some cases.
