ServiceNow email from sender not being received

Hello,

 

Our instance receives auto alerts from various external senders. These are setup by having a user record created for the email address of the sender. The emails go through into our Service Desk mailbox which is auto forwarded to SNow to create a record. Most have an inbound action created to auto create an incident as required.

 

Since 04/01/24, emails from a certain external sender are not being received into the ServiceNow instance whatsoever - no trace of them in the email logs. The emails are in the Service Desk mailbox in Outlook. Things I have checked: 

- Email properties seem the same: sizes are similar and content is very similar

- The user profile in SNow is active and not locked out

 

I'm unsure if this is an issue on the SNow instance side or on the email side as the email doesn't even show up in the instance at all. 

 

Help appreciated.
