Hey all,
Looking for some feedback on the configuration some other organizations used for setting an SMTP. Rather than using the default OOTB SMTP ServiceNow uses, we created an internal account. This was to enable the platform to send to distribution lists, shared mailboxes etc.
The account that was configured was an HVE (High Volume Email), in order to process a large amount of messages. The limitation we're now facing, is that platform cannot send emails externally as Microsoft established HVE's are for internal use only. It's being proposed to possibly use a ACS account. Curious to see what type of account other organizations used.
Any feedback would be appreciated! 🙂
Thank you,
Nathan
